Situated on the bustling Gloucester Road, The Cider Press hosts their pub quiz every Monday. To participate, you can book a table on their website, with bookings beginning at 5 pm. While they are famous for their 32 draught ciders, The Cider Press has also gained a reputation as a lively and welcoming venue. They occasionally introduce new drinks and food. This spring, you can enjoy one of their new chicken wing flavours or a limited-edition cocktail!

Take part in the Super Quiz every Tuesday at the Colosseum, The Crown, The Mother’s Ruin and Greyhound! With all pubs contributing to the prize pot and only a £1 entry fee, there is no reason not to take part! You also get free halftime food included with your entry food! This means you can grab a burger from the Colosseum or Greyhound, a pizza from The Crown, or a snack at The Mother’s Ruin. At the end of the night they even host a bonus game with the chance to win £250 at each pub!
3. Hare on the Hill

For only £2 per person, you can participate in The Quiz on the Hill! Located in a quaint, green-tiled building, Hare on the Hill are an independent alehouse with 5 casks, 10 kegs, and world beers. If you prefer something other than lager, they do also offer fine wines and spirits. Plus, without the stress about booking a table, you can just turnup for a relaxing and exciting quiz!
4. The Spotted Cow

Hosting one of the longest running pub quizzes in Bristol (18+ years!), The Spotted Cow has a weekly Quiz & Bingo night every Tuesday. Just before the quiz has begun, you might even feel tempted to enjoy a delicious drink in their gorgeous beer garden! Their quiz and bingo run simultaneously, so you could be in for a chance to win bonus prizes. At the end of the quiz, a team is randomly selected to answer the bonus rollover question to win the jackpot!

The Lazy Dog is an old-fashioned style pub home to a large, partially heated beer garden and an amazing weekly pub quiz! The prize pot occasionally includes samples from the Lazy Dog’s monthly drink suppliers and sponsors. Some of these treats are even handed out during the quiz! With only £2 entry per person and as a regularly booked out event, you can have a great time at a reasonable price!
7. Hungry Horse

Nestled just outside of Bristol’s lively city centre, The Brunel is a friendly pub restaurant that hosts a pub quiz every Wednesday. Each quiz lasts around 2 hours, leaving enough time between rounds to grab a drink! You can even enjoy their Curry Wednesday deal which includes a curry and drink for £10 (or £8 for a non-alcoholic drink). 8. The White Lion

Located along Clifton Gorge, offering you a picturesque view of the Avon River and Clifton Suspension Bridge, The White Lion is in an ideal spot for a relaxing night out. It costs £2 per person to enter and all the money raised weekly quiz raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support. First place wins a £30 bar tab or a Greene King gift card, and there are prices for second and third place as well!
