Industry is the show that made a generation of graduates briefly consider a career in investment banking, before remembering the 80-hour weeks. The HBO and BBC drama follows a group of ambitious young hires at the fictional London bank Pierpoint & Co, and it has grown from cult favourite into one of the most talked-about dramas on telly.
Season four aired from January to March 2026, moving the action beyond the trading floor and bringing in new faces including Kal Penn, Kiernan Shipka, Max Minghella, Toheeb Jimoh and Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton. Harry Lawtey, who played Robert Spearing, didn’t return because of scheduling conflicts. HBO has since renewed the show for a fifth and final season, which started filming in August 2026 with additions including Cary Elwes, Dianna Agron and Ben Platt, and is expected in 2027.
The characters spend their days chasing bonuses, but what about the people playing them? Here’s who in the Industry cast has actually made a killing.
Quick disclaimer: these are Unifresher’s own estimates, based on reported earnings, deals and business records. Celebrity net worths are educated guesses, not bank statements, and figures are rounded and in pounds.
The top tier: genuinely loaded
1. Kit Harington – £12 million
Jon Snow knows plenty about money, it turns out. Harington spent eight seasons on Game of Thrones, and Deadline reported in 2016 that the show’s leads would earn more than $500,000 an episode for its final seasons. Since then he’s been in Marvel’s Eternals and voiced Eret in the How to Train Your Dragon films. As Sir Henry Muck, he’s become Industry’s biggest name, and we estimate he’s worth around £12 million.
2. Kal Penn – £7 million
Penn is best known for the Harold & Kumar stoner comedies and as Dr Lawrence Kutner in House, but his CV is more interesting than most. He left acting to work in the Obama White House’s Office of Public Engagement, then came back for Designated Survivor and created the sitcom Sunnyside, with a memoir along the way. We estimate he’s worth around £7 million.
The comfortably minted middle
3. Max Minghella – £5 million
The son of the late Oscar-winning director Anthony Minghella, Max made his own name in The Social Network and then spent six seasons as Nick in The Handmaid’s Tale. He’s also behind the camera, having written and directed Teen Spirit with Elle Fanning. Steady prestige work puts him at around £5 million on our estimate.
4. Kiernan Shipka – £5 million
Shipka has been working since she was a small child, playing Sally Draper in Mad Men from the age of six. She then led Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina for four parts and has since popped up in Twisters, Longlegs and Totally Killer. Nearly two decades of work before turning 30 puts her at around £5 million, on our estimate.
5. Ken Leung – £4 million
Eric Tao, Industry’s gloriously volatile managing director, is played by a man you’ve definitely seen before. Leung was Miles in Lost and has appeared in Rush Hour, Saw, X-Men: The Last Stand and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Decades as a go-to character actor add up to around £4 million on our estimate.
6. Charlie Heaton – £3 million
The Yorkshire-born actor spent five seasons as Jonathan Byers in Stranger Things, one of Netflix’s most valuable shows, before joining Industry for season four. He’s also been in Marvel’s The New Mutants and the thriller Shut In with Naomi Watts. We estimate he’s worth around £3 million, in line with our Stranger Things cast rich list.
Rising stars
7. Marisa Abela – £2.5 million
Yasmin Kara-Hanani has been at the heart of Industry since episode one, and Abela’s career has rocketed alongside her. She played Amy Winehouse in the 2024 biopic Back to Black, had a small part in Barbie and starred in SAS: Rogue Heroes. We estimate she’s worth around £2.5 million.
8. Toheeb Jimoh – £1.5 million
Before joining Industry for season four, Jimoh won over millions as the lovely Sam Obisanya across three seasons of Ted Lasso, one of Apple TV+’s biggest hits. Joining a prestige HBO drama for season four is another big step, and we put the Nigerian-British actor at around £1.5 million.
9. Myha’la – £1.5 million
Harper Stern is arguably the show’s lead, and Myha’la has turned the role into a film career, starring opposite Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali in Netflix’s Leave the World Behind and in A24’s Bodies Bodies Bodies. She also joined this year’s Celebrity Traitors. We estimate she’s worth around £1.5 million.
10. Amy James-Kelly – £750,000
Many viewers first met James-Kelly as Maddie Heath in Coronation Street before she moved into prime-time drama. Joining the main cast of an HBO series for season four is a big step up, and we estimate she’s worth around £750,000.
11. Sagar Radia – £750,000
Rishi Ramdani started as background chaos on the trading floor and became one of the show’s most beloved (and most stressful) characters. Radia has been a regular since season one and earned some of the best reviews of his career for a Rishi-focused episode in season three. We put him at around £750,000.
The mystery fortunes
Miriam Petche, who plays the brilliantly named Sweetpea Golightly, has been part of the cast for several seasons, but there isn’t enough public information about her earnings to estimate a figure.
Fun fact for Game of Thrones fans: Harington’s on-screen brother Robb Stark was played by Richard Madden, and you can see how Richard Madden’s net worth compares. HBO’s decision to end Industry after season five was reported by Variety.
Industry rich list at a glance
| Rank | Name | Estimated net worth |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Kit Harington | £12 million |
| 2 | Kal Penn | £7 million |
| 3 | Max Minghella | £5 million |
| 4 | Kiernan Shipka | £5 million |
| 5 | Ken Leung | £4 million |
| 6 | Charlie Heaton | £3 million |
| 7 | Marisa Abela | £2.5 million |
| 8 | Toheeb Jimoh | £1.5 million |
| 9 | Myha’la | £1.5 million |
| 10 | Amy James-Kelly | £750,000 |
| 11 | Sagar Radia | £750,000 |
| – | Miriam Petche | Not estimated |
Add it all up and the Industry cast is worth roughly £43 million on our estimates. That’s a decent bonus pool, even by Pierpoint standards.
