Brighton is a famous student city and hosts various pubs, clubs and bars, and restaurants and offers the best of happy hours there is. Now with the easing of lockdown, keep an eye on some of the best deals on happy hours. We have rounded up some for you.

1. The Joker

The Joker is a student-friendly pub at Preston Circus. It serves great deals all week- round. There is a 15 percent discount on your student id-card. They also have a 2-4-1 prosecco deal, all day and night, every Monday.

2. Brighton Rocks

Location: 6 Rock Pl, Kemptown, Brighton BN2 1PF

It is a quirky bar with a delightful selection of cocktails. It has great deals on Monday and Tuesday, 2 for £10 on cocktails. The bar is also famous for its music, mostly retro, and attracts a large crowd every night. The bar is also famous for ciders, wines and good food. On Wednesdays, they have an open mic night as well, and whoever participates gets great beer deals.

3. The Windmill

The Windmill is a cozy pub that offers great deals, almost all days of the week. On Monday, head for a free spaghetti Bolognese bowl with any drink post- 6 pm. On Tuesday, they have cask ale nights starting at just a tiny amount of £2.50. they also serve other varieties of drinks, and they are known for their coffees as well.

4. Shuffle Bar

Shuffle Bar has a great menu of more than 100 drinks. It also has a great music scene where customers can choose the music played by syncing their soundtracks. Their happy hour deal includes a 2-4-1 cocktail deal that runs from Monday to Thursday, £6 cocktails on Fridays and Saturdays.

5. The King & Queen

This is probably Brighton’s biggest pub house and is pretty well-known. They have a great selection of fosters, Strongbow’s, spiced rum, peach schnapps, and so many other varieties for under £2. They also have a student night on Monday and Thursday and have two drinks under £5. The pub is also known for its great food and ambience.

6. Patterns

Patterns on a Thursday night is a must-visit. If you have a membership card, the entry is free, otherwise at a cheap rate of £3. They have drink deals at £2.50, which includes mixers, funky cocktails, beers, and ciders.

7. Shooshh

Shoosh on Fridays has a £3 doubles and various shots deals. You can get a double shot for a pound while other mixers, rum, vodka range between 2 to 3 pounds, maximum.

8. The Mesmerist

Location: 1-3 Prince Albert St, Brighton BN1 1HE, United Kingdom

The Mesmerist is Brighton’s buzzy- est pub. People flock here to devour the great taste of their food served with some delicious cocktails and alcohol. They have a palace-inspired décor and have live music. Their happy hours are from Monday to Thursday.

9. Las Iguanas

Las Iguanas is loved equally by adults and children alike. Their roast lamb and chicken are to die for. They have good food, decent enough service, and their 2 for 1 deal every day are a hit with the crowd.
