The biggest firework display in Swansea is definitely the one happening in St Helen’s Ground. This firework display is run by the council, and this year they’re hosting a ‘night at the movies’ themed evening! This isn’t just any ordinary firework display, as you can also expect a brass band, glow entertainers, movie-themed attractions and also actors and performers walking amongst the crowd! They have also promised famous characters from movies to be walking around as well, so it will definitely be an eventful night. The actual fireworks start at 7pm, and student tickets cost only £3! But, if you’re not fussed about the attractions and just want to watch the fireworks, you could probably see them from the beach, Brynmill, and Uplands!

If you’re busy doing your own fireworks on bonfire night, then luckily for you Morriston Town AFC are hosting their display on the 4th of November! This firework display also kicks off at 7pm, and tickets are around a similar price to the Swansea council display. Adult tickets cost £4, and although they don’t have a huge themed night, they will have a singer to entertain you and a fish and chip van if you get hungry. You can purchase tickets now at the club, so if you’re interested in going, pop down and grab one before they go!

Neath RFC are also hosting their own firework display, which is perfect for those who live closer to the area. This firework display is sure to be incredible, especially as there will be a range of food stalls, fairground rides, and live entertainment! However, this firework show is more expensive, as an adult ticket will cost you £9. It’s also a couple of days before bonfire night, giving you time to attend other displays as well. You can also book tickets online, so if you fancy going, head over to their website to book your spot!

Another firework display happening near Swansea is the Aberavon seafront display in Port Talbot! As this event is hosted on the beach, entry is completely free! Hosting a firework display on the beach is perfect for bonfire night, especially since you can see the fireworks without having your view obstructed. There will also be a fun fair, which will be open from 2pm, so you can really spend the whole day there if you fancy it!

If you are looking for a firework display that happens on the 5th, then you might want to go to the Pontardawe RFC display. The gates open at 6pm, which gives some time before the fireworks actually start. There will be hot food and drinks available as well, but it sounds as if this will be more relaxed compared to the other displays on the list. Adult tickets are £5, which isn’t the cheapest option on the list, but it’s convenient for those who live nearby.
Address: Ynysderw Rd, Swansea SA8 4EG
These are the best local displays you can go see, but obviously there’s displays happening all over the country.
