Bringing a whole host of festive spirit to the streets of Swansea, the annual Christmas parade returns in November! The parade will start its journey from the Guildhall (SA1 4PE) and will finish on Princess Way. Visit Swansea Bay has published the route, featured below.

It is also worth noting that areas of accessibility have been set up on the Kingsway (St. Helen’s Road) and Princess Way. These areas will provide the quieter areas also featuring accessible toilets.

Back again for 2026, Swansea’s Winter Wonderland returns to the Waterfront. Much like the years before, the magical ice rink returns for everyone to enjoy, right in the centre of the wonderland. Like last year, 2026 is sporting a live music stage, with performances taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

The ice rink has also seen an upgrade for this festive season. If you’re not a fan of skating, don’t fret, a new viewing area has been created, keeping everyone warm and dry!

Fancy getting lost in the festive spirit? How about an adventure through the new Christmas Tree maze? Aside from the thrill-seeking rides and picturesque views upon the big wheel, the wonderland will also be packed with many food and drink vendors to keep you festively fuelled.

Swansea Christmas Markets

Need some inspiration for your Christmas shopping? Why not try an independent and small business? Taking over Oxford Street and Portland Street, the market chalets will be open from end of November through to the end of December (for all the last-minute gifting folk!). There are even plenty of catering options to keep you warm while shopping, too.

Joined by comedian Joe Pasquale and Wales’ own theatre star Celyn Cartwright, the production is set to captivate audiences on a magical carpet ride this festive season.

Don’t miss it though! Productions begin on Saturday, 6th December, right through until Sunday, 4th January (excluding Christmas Day (25th) and certain days during the run). Get your tickets and check availability on the Swansea Grand Theatre website.
