FAQs on Brighton freshers events and wristbands
Wristbands can save money if you’ll attend multiple club nights and mixers. If you prefer quieter plans, cherry-pick a few highlights and add daytime fairs or society tasters to meet people without committing to every late night.
Yes — expect games nights, film screenings, craft sessions and city walks. Many societies run intro meetups with zero alcohol pressure, so you can find your people and still make morning lectures.
Bring valid photo ID, stick with friends and plan your last bus/train. Share locations, use licensed cabs, and never leave drinks unattended — simple habits keep the focus on fun, not logistics.
Pick one headline night, then fill gaps with free fairs or society intros. Leave buffer time to get across the city and keep one rest evening — you’ll enjoy the week more and actually remember names the next day.
Set a nightly cap, pre-book cheaper early-bird tickets and use student deals for food before you go out. Walk between close venues and carry a small card holder, not a big bag full of impulse purchases.
