Saturday – Jesters
Where: Jesters Nightclub
Cost of entry: usually around £5
Drink specials: £3 cocktails, £1.50 doubles, £1.50 bombs
Jesters, known for its reputation as one of the worst (or best, perhaps?) nights out in the UK. One of its main selling points is its playlist. It has everything from cheesy 80s music, 90s RnB, nostalgic 00s and even some from the 2010s. As well as great deals like £1.50 doubles, Jesters is known for its Jesticle cocktail, which consists of a shot each of vodka, white rum, malibu, blackcurrant squash, plus orange juice and lemonade. If you happen to find yourself in Jesters, don’t miss out on this classic beverage to crown you night out.
Southampton does not seem to have much of a reputation for nightlife, often being overshadowed by its noisy neighbour, London. However, with 6 nights of fun each week, every week, it really should do (speaking of, if you’d like even more choices of nightclubs, check out our article on the best student nightclubs in Southampton). Don’t sleep on it – unless, of course, you’ve just come back from the (best) worst night of your life at Jesters. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
