We all know the best things in life are free – well at least it feels great. So explore Nottinghams free entry nightclubs. I guarantee you’ll have just as much, if not more fun!
1. Rock City
Where: 8 Talbot street, Nottingham, NG1 5GG
If you arrive usually around 11pm then you can get away with free entry. Rock City hosts a variety of club nights and LIVE gigs (the best if you ask me). Friday night they play 90s hits all night AND cocktails are only £2.50! Bargain!
2. Saltbox
Where: Bolero Square, Nottingham, NG1 1LY
If you haven’t been to Saltbox yet then you need to get down there asap. They play local live music and always have great bands lined up for Friday nights. Its also free entry before midnight and 2 for 1 cocktails! If your looking for an affordable night – this is it!
3. Propaganda
Where: The Lace Market, 8-10 Broadway, Nottingham, NG1 1PS
Propaganda understands the student skint struggles, so if you show your student ID Wed-Sun they’ll give you free entry until 5am. They host some pretty hilarious nights too, like their now infamous S-Club 7 party. Keep an eye on their Facebook page too as they often have competitions to win yourself a bottle of fizz or even a bottle of spirits plus mixer.
5. The rescue rooms
Where: Masonic Place, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham, NG1 5LB
Hosting ‘Pressure‘ on Tuesdays and ‘Club Tropicana‘ on Thursdays, the Rescue Rooms know what’s up when it comes to a killer club night. Pressure always has free entry from 10pm-3am with 2 for 1 drinks up for grabs, and Thursdays usually has a fancy dress theme and limbo!
6. Coco Tang
Where: 45 Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham, NG1 2GN
If your looking for a dressier night, Cocotang is the place for you. Its an undergound cocktail bar and oozes exclusivity and sophistication. However they don’t charge entry and their happy hour is great for the student pocket. This lasts till midnight on the weekend too! The DJ plays till late – the perfect place for a birthday!
