Overview

Is Wrexham University right for you?

Wrexham is a small, friendly university on a single main campus in north-east Wales. Plas Coch sits on Mold Road beside the Racecourse Ground, five minutes' walk from Wrexham General station and about ten minutes from the town centre. The university's own halls are right on campus, so first years can roll out of bed and into class.

It's a good fit if you want a close-knit place with lower costs than a big city. Hall rooms start at £132.50 a week with bills included. The trade-off is scale: there's one university-run hall, a smaller SU and a quieter nightlife than Manchester or Liverpool, both of which are reachable by train.
