Overview

Is the University of Worcester right for you?

Worcester is a small, friendly university in a compact cathedral city on the River Severn. The main St John's campus is home to the Students' Union and most halls, and the City campus and The Hive library are close to the centre. Halls are on campus, contracts are typically 40 weeks, and bills plus gym membership are included.

It's especially strong for health, nursing, teaching and sport, and many students are mature or on professional courses. That gives it a supportive, practical feel, but it's quieter than a big-city university. If you want a manageable place where you won't get lost in the crowd, it's worth a look.
