Where it ranks in the Unifresher Rankings 2027, what it’s really like to study there, and what halls and living costs look like.
Brunel is one of the few London universities with a proper single campus. Everything is on one site in Uxbridge, at the far western end of London: halls, lectures, the Students' Union and sports facilities. All new students who meet the conditions are guaranteed a room on campus, which is rare in London.
The flip side is location. Uxbridge is a suburban town, and central London is a long tube ride away. Campus rooms cost about £180–£268 a week for 2026/27, so it's still London pricing. If you want a campus community with London within reach, it's a strong option.
