Overview

Is the University of Hull right for you?

Hull is a friendly, mid-sized university with everything on one compact campus on Cottingham Road in north Hull. The university calls it a '10-minute campus', and all its halls are within a five-minute walk of the centre. You'll find the Students' Union, the library, the Allam Sport Centre and teaching buildings close together.

The big selling point is cost: on-campus en-suite rooms start at £99 a week, and Hull is an affordable city. The trade-offs are that Hull is a little out of the way, and its nightlife and culture, though better than its reputation, are on a smaller scale than Leeds or Manchester.
